I am currently a student at Whitworth University, working towards a degree in Psychology with a minor in Communications. After the completion of my undergraduate degree, I aim to attend graduate school and pursue a Master’s degree in counseling.

I grew up in the small town of Whitefish, Montana, where I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends, getting involved in school athletics and activities, and exploring the outdoors. I come from a town that placed a lot of value on building a community support system and producing a well-connected population. Growing up in this environment helped me to develop an appreciation of deep human connection and relationships.

My interest in the field of psychology was first sparked when I took a basic psychology course my sophomore year in high school. I became fascinated with the idea of hearing people’s stories and figuring out why they think and act the way they do. I love reading about case studies and am amazed at the diversity between each individual case. I am so excited to have the opportunity to receive an education in the field of psychology and counseling and to be able to practice as a counselor in the future. I look forward to hearing each client’s unique story and to be able to help them work through whatever it is that is troubling them.
